Position Summary

This grant-funded postdoctoral position involves working in the Joyner lab to study genotype-phenotype relationships of relapsing malaria parasites (Plasmodium cynomolgi and Plasmodium vivax). Responsibilities include managing projects, data analysis, grant and report writing, manuscript preparation, and mentoring students.

Qualifications

• Minimum: PhD or equivalent in related fields.
• Preferred: Experience with malaria parasite culture, genetic manipulation, sequencing analysis, PCR, and cloning.
