Position Overview

MIT’s Plasma Science and Fusion Center seeks a Postdoctoral Associate to work on advanced plasma diagnostic systems for magnetic fusion experiments, with a focus on plasma reflectometry and millimeter‑wave technologies. This includes systems for the SPARC tokamak.

Responsibilities
  • Design, test, and operate millimeter‑wave and reflectometry systems for plasma measurements
  • Develop data acquisition and analysis tools
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams at MIT and partner institutions
  • Contribute to publications and conference presentations
Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Physics, Nuclear Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field
