Job summary

Amazon is seeking Postdoctoral Scientists to join our research team for a full-time position focused on visual localization and navigation for real-world applications. This role collaborates with scientists and engineers to develop robust perception systems for indoor and outdoor environments.

You will publish innovations at top venues, work on metric-semantic mapping, relocalization, and monocular localization, and contribute to solutions deployed at global scale on real hardware.

Qualifications

• PhD in computer vision, robotics, SLAM, or a related field.
• Proven publication record in visual localization, SLAM, 3D scene understanding, or related fields.
• Experience in metric-semantic mapping, visual relocalization, or monocular localization.
• Proficiency in deep learning frameworks, geometric optimization, 3D reconstruction.
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a senior science advisor, collaborate with other scientists and engineers, and be part of Amazon’s global science community.
• Publish your innovation in top-tier academic venues and hone your presentation skills.
