Mount Sinai invites applications for a Postdoctoral position in the Microbiology department. The role focuses on characterizing virus-host interactions across arthropod-borne and paramyxoviruses, using cell culture, molecular biology, -omics, and novel model systems.

The candidate will work with mice and hamsters, perform flow cytometry, ELISA, WB, ELISPOT, qPCR, and NGS workflows, and help train others in these techniques. MD or PhD is required, with a strong research record.

Qualifications

• MD or PhD required.
• Experience with molecular biology techniques and lab management is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Support in vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo virus-host interaction studies.
• Train lab personnel in molecular biology assays and sequencing methods.
