Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent doctoral degree required.
• Experience with rodent behavioral models, molecular biology, neuroscience, or bioinformatics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in research to uncover transgenerational mechanisms of opioid addiction.
• Investigate behavioral phenotypes in offspring and mu opioid receptor expression in brain regions.
• Manipulate let-7 levels in sperm to test transmission of the phenotype.
• Characterize opioid-induced changes in sperm miRNA profiles using sequencing.
• Prepare manuscripts and presentations and mentor trainees.
