Qualifications

• Ph.D. in toxicology, biology, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience with cell culture and/or zebrafish toxicology research.
• Experience in the use of statistical analysis software.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with faculty, administrators, and students.
• Must be willing to wear proper PPE when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in experimental design and development of protocols.
• Conduct experiments on toxicity of PFAS chemicals.
• Maintain and breed fish populations and/or cell culture lines used in experiments.
• Oversee planning and management of data collection.
• Perform statistical analysis of data.
• Disseminate evaluation results through publications and oral presentations.
• Supervise undergraduate/graduate research assistants.
• Work with microscopy.
