Job summary

The Palomero Laboratory at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, seeks a Postdoctoral Research Scientist to study genetics and mechanisms of T-cell leukemia and lymphoma. You will design and perform experiments using mouse models and analyze human patient samples, with a focus on tumor microenvironment interactions.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field and strong record of published work.
• Experience with mouse models of T-cell malignancies and flow cytometry.
• Proficiency in single-cell sequencing technologies and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design and perform experiments using mouse models of T-ALL and PTCL.
• Analyze primary human samples (blood, bone marrow, tumor biopsies).
• Conduct multi-parameter flow cytometry for immunophenotyping and sorting.
• Plan and execute single-cell experiments (scRNA-seq, CITE-seq) to characterize cell populations.
• Investigate tumor microenvironment interactions and evaluate experimental therapeutics.
