Qualifications

• PhD or MD/PhD in neuroscience or related discipline required.
• Strong experimental training and ability to independently design and execute experiments.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary, highly collaborative environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong publication record.

Responsibilities

• Study the synaptic and circuit organization of genetically defined populations of spinal interneurons involved in movement.
• Employ mouse genetics, viral tracing, single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, and imaging methodologies.
• Contribute to lab goals and develop independent research directions within motor circuitry projects.
• Collaborate in a highly cooperative environment and engage in career development opportunities.
