Job summary

The Long lab at Weill Cornell Medical College seeks a highly motivated Postdoctoral researcher to join our energetic and collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D.

in molecular biology with experience in RNA biology, CRISPR, and next-generation sequencing, and strong communication skills. The position offers access to state-of-the-art facilities, opportunities to develop novel CRISPR tools, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across Weill Cornell and partner

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. required at start date (negotiable).
  • Experience in molecular biology techniques including cell culture, cloning, CRISPR, and NGS is preferred.
  • Computational skills to analyze omics data are advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent postdoctoral research at the intersection of RNA, DNA, and protein.
  • Investigate epigenetic regulation during stem cell differentiation and noncoding RNA roles in chromatin.
  • Develop and apply CRISPR-based tools and high-throughput sequencing analyses.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to manuscript preparation.
