Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant life sciences field is required.
• Experience with DNA/RNA purification, cloning, sequencing and protein work.

• Knowledge of a range of molecular biology techniques and basic bioinformatics.

Responsibilities

• Carry out experimental work for ribosome engineering and protein synthesis projects.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to manuscripts and grant proposals.
• Stay current with relevant literature and present findings at meetings.
• Participate in weekly lab meetings, Journal Clubs and seminars; prepare data for publication.
