Job summary

TTUHSC Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is seeking a post-doctoral researcher to design and supervise a funded project involving basic science research with mice. You will interpret results for publication and work under graduate faculty supervision.

The role includes training junior staff, presenting findings, and assisting in manuscript preparation for submission or presentation at conferences.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate in area of project specialization.
• Ability to organize work, prioritize objectives and exercise independent judgment.
• Background checks and compliance with state/federal regulations may apply.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct basic science research, including work with mice.
• Collect, analyze, and present data in a professional manner.
• Supervise research and student assistants when needed.
• Attend lab meetings and present findings at events.
• Assist faculty in manuscript preparation and publication.
