Job summary

Qualifications

  • PhD in Engineering, Materials Sciences, Physics, or a closely relevant field.
  • Publication record evidenced by peer‑reviewed journals and external presentations.
  • Ability to acquire and maintain a DOE Q clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform experiments or simulations to investigate radiation effects in microelectronics and test objects.
  • Collaborate with specialists performing radiation experiments, design experiments, and analyze results.
  • Summarize findings in internal reports and present/publish as appropriate.
  • Communicate new insights to internal and external stakeholders and customers.
  • Travel for experiments, project meetings, and conferences.
