Qualifications

  • Background in mechanistic virology, host-pathogen interactions, or vaccine design.
  • Experience with pseudotyped virus systems, neutralization/entry assays, or related models.
  • Experience with membrane proteins or structural biology data.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct mentored research in quantitative virology and immunology.
  • Collaborate with LLNL scientists and external partners to advance multidisciplinary objectives.
  • Generate, organize, and interpret experimental datasets with appropriate statistics.
  • Prepare and present proposals for new projects to management and experts.
  • Contribute to peer-reviewed publications and technical reports.
  • Integrate experimental data with computational structural modeling and design.
