Job summary

The UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA in Phoenix is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to contribute to the Pulmonary Hypertension laboratory.

The successful candidate will conduct independent research on molecular mechanisms of pulmonary arterial hypertension and will be mentored towards becoming a principal investigator. A PhD or MD in a relevant scientific field is required.

Qualifications

• PhD, MD or PhD/MD in Biological Sciences, Medicine, or relevant field.
• Experience with AI models and bioinformatic methods preferred.
• Ability to manage mouse colonies and conduct in vivo assessments.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent research experiments under Principal Investigator's direction.
• Design, implement, and manage research projects on pulmonary hypertension mechanisms.
• Conduct in vivo studies and analyze research data.
