Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Pharmacogenomics & Precision Medicine in the Lusi Zhang Lab. The role focuses on leveraging pharmacogenomics, population genomics, and real-world data to advance precision medicine and improve medication outcomes, with emphasis on mental health conditions.

Qualifications

PharmD, PhD, MD or equivalent required.
Postdoctoral research experience preferred (lab based).
Experience in pharmacogenomics or precision medicine is favorable.

Responsibilities

Develop the skills and knowledge to become an independent scientist.
Design, execute, and record laboratory experiments, and analyze data.
Research and improve current methods and evaluate innovative techniques, protocols and assay accuracy.
Discuss insights about experimental results with Faculty and provide recommendations.
Present research at meetings, seminars, and journal clubs; develop critical review skills.
Draft, write, and edit scientific reports, papers, abstracts, and grants.
Mentorship of research staff and fiscal administration; maintain currency in field.
