Job summary

The project focuses on Vibrio pathogens, molecular strategies for host colonization, virulence regulation and dispersal. The fellow will lead projects at the interface of molecular microbiology, host-pathogen interactions and structural biology, design experiments, analyze proteomics data, and contribute to translational discovery.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry or structural biology.
• Strong publication record and ability to work in a team.
• Independent thinker with collaboration across laboratories.
• Experience with proteomics or protein complex analysis is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead studies on molecular and ecological drivers of pathogen emergence.
• Design and execute experiments at the interface of several disciplines.
• Analyze large-scale proteomic data and interpret results.
• Mentor junior scientists and contribute to collaborative projects.
