Job summary
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Moreno lab. The role leads studies on molecular microbiology, host–pathogen interactions, and proteomics to understand pathogen emergence and virulence strategies.
The successful candidate will design experiments, analyze proteomic data, and collaborate across laboratories, contributing to translational goals and training junior researchers in a multidisciplinary setting.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Structural Biology, or related discipline.
- Strong foundation in proteomics, mass spectrometry, or chemical probe development.
- Demonstrated productivity, critical thinking, and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute projects at the interface of molecular microbiology, host–pathogen interactions and structural biology.
- Analyze large-scale proteomic data and interpret results to drive discovery.
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to collaborative, multi-lab projects.
