Mass General Brigham invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Clinical Neuroimaging of PTSD and related disorders. The fellow will investigate neural mechanisms of PTSD using MRI, including resting-state fMRI, within McLean Hospital and Harvard Medical School collaborations.

Qualifications

• PhD, MD/PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in neuroscience, psychology, biomedical engineering, computational neuroscience, or a related field.
• Experience with human neuroimaging research, including processing and analyzing resting-state fMRI data.
• Evidence of strong scientific productivity and scientific writing skills, including peer-reviewed publications.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with task-based fMRI and/or multimodal neuroimaging approaches such as diffusion MRI or MRS.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent and highly specialized human-subjects research.
• Process, analyze, and interpret MRI data, with emphasis on resting-state fMRI.
• Apply and develop advanced neuroimaging and statistical analysis methods.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of research protocols.
• Synthesize and interpret results; present at meetings and prepare manuscripts.
