Job summary

The Detre Laboratory at the University of Pennsylvania, Perelman School of Medicine, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher to join a multidisciplinary team investigating brain aging and Alzheimer’s disease using advanced neuroimaging methods.

The successful candidate will work on NIH-funded projects, develop expertise in cerebral blood flow imaging, ASL, multimodal MRI, and data harmonization while contributing to publications and grant applications.

Qualifications

• PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, CS, EE, Physics or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in neuroimaging, machine learning, or deep learning.
• Strong scientific writing and ability to lead manuscripts and grant proposals.
• Experience with perfusion MRI or arterial spin labeling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply advanced neuroimaging methods to aging and dementia.
• Contribute to primary research publications and grant proposals.
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team and support data analysis.
