Job summary

The Tabrizi Lab at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine is seeking outstanding Postdoctoral Scholars to join a basic and translational program focused on liquid biopsies and cancer diagnostics.

Two positions are available; applicants will lead projects on extracellular nucleic acids, publish findings, and present at national and international meetings within a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• PhD, MD or MD/PhD
• Background in molecular biology, genomics, cancer biology, and/or bioengineering
• Experience in immunology and with mouse models preferred but not required
• Strong track record of productivity
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, teamwork, and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Lead projects on studying the biology of extracellular nucleic acids and their diagnostic/therapeutic applications.
• Advance liquid biopsy technologies to track tissue toxicity and tumor response during cancer therapy.
• Present findings at national and international meetings and publish in peer‑reviewed journals.
