Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in a relevant field, with progress toward completion by 12/21/2026.
• Degree received within the past five years or anticipated by 12/21/2026.
• Experience with biomass pretreatment and lignin separation preferred.
• Familiarity with HPLC, TGA, NMR, FTIR analytical techniques.
• Strong statistical data analysis and scientific communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with lignin fractionation experiments and data recording.
• Perform analytical characterization of recovered lignin (HPLC, NMR, FTIR).
• Prepare scientific reports and present progress at group meetings.
