Job summary

The University of Denver seeks a postdoctoral research associate to develop and test a desktop L-band imager with rapid-scan and pulse capabilities. The successful candidate will design resonators, test electronics for signal detection, and contribute to system software improvements.

The postdoc will train users, prepare procedures, and collaborate with undergraduate and graduate students in a dynamic research team.

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry, Physics or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with electron paramagnetic resonance instrumentation.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate results.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test L-band resonators for in vivo rapid scan and pulsed EPR.
• Maintain and improve electronics for L-band imager.
• Work with team to improve software usability and reliability.
• Prepare samples and perform experiments to test system performance.
