Job summary

University of Denver seeks a postdoctoral research associate to develop and test a desktop L-band imager with rapid-scan and pulse capabilities. You will design resonators, test electronics for signal detection, and contribute to system software improvements. The role includes developing operating procedures and training users.

You will work with undergraduate and graduate students and participate in experiments that advance L-band EPR instrumentation in a collaborative academic environment.

Qualifications

  • PhD in Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
  • Experience with electron paramagnetic resonance instrumentation.
  • Proficiency in Matlab and data acquisition software.
  • Ability to work as part of a research team.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and test L-band resonators for in vivo rapid scan and pulsed EPR.
  • Maintain and improve electronics for L-band imager.
  • Improve user-friendliness and reliability of software with team.
  • Prepare samples and conduct experiments to evaluate system performance.
