Job summary

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital seeks a Postdoctoral Researcher to develop innovative statistical methods for pediatric oncology clinical trials. You will collaborate with clinicians and statisticians, publish in leading journals, and build software in R/Python while shaping an independent research program.

Qualifications

• PhD in biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology, data science, or closely related quantitative discipline.
• Strong training in statistical methodology.
• Experience with statistical programming in R and/or Python.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary research teams.
• Interest in clinical trials and biomedical research.

Responsibilities

• Develop new statistical methodology motivated by pediatric oncology problems.
• Conduct simulation studies to evaluate operating characteristics.
• Analyze clinical trial, registry, and real-world datasets.
• Develop statistical software in R and/or Python.
• Collaborate with pediatric oncologists, investigators, statisticians, and data scientists.
• Publish methodological and applied research in leading journals.
• Present research at national and international meetings.
• Develop independent research ideas and contribute to grant proposals.
