Job summary

FBK invites applications for a Post-Doctoral position in the Planning Scheduling and Optimization unit. The role focuses on reinforcement learning for automated planning and scheduling within the STEP-RL ERC-funded project.

Candidates will work with the PI Andrea Micheli, collaborate with researchers, and help supervise PhD students. The appointment is a full-time fixed-term contract (12 months) based in Povo, Trento (Italy) with a gross salary around €44,000 per year.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have a PhD in computer science, mathematics or electronic engineering or equivalent research experience.
• Demonstrated publication record in top-tier journals/conferences.
• Strong software development skills in Python and/or Rust.
