The candidate will build AI and traditional tools, annotate genomes, and present at meetings while contributing to data schemas, workflows, and educational resources.

Qualificações

• PhD in Bioinformatics or closely related field.
• Proficient in Python and data processing.
• Experience with AI tools for biological research.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience presenting research at scientific meetings and to collaborators.
• Experience generating reports, grant writing, and publishing manuscripts.

Responsabilidades

• Annotate fungal genomes and perform bioinformatic analyses.
• Construct and maintain AI platforms for research and education.
• Support diverse Myco-Ed student-driven genomics projects.
• Develop and maintain data schema, software and bioinformatics workflows.
• Lead publication of results and tools in peer-reviewed manuscripts.
• Create instructional videos describing how to interact with fungal-genomics data and MycoCosm tools.
• Develop web services for improved access to tools and data.
