The Medical University of South Carolina's Sahin Lab invites applications for a post-doctoral fellow in bioinformatics focusing on cancer biology and immunotherapy. The role centers on analyzing whole-genome, transcriptome, epigenome, and proteome data from patient tumors to guide precision oncology strategies.

You will collaborate across biology, computer science, and clinical teams to develop computational workflows, validate biomarkers, and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.

Formación

• PhD awarded within the last 3 years in a related field.
• Experience in data science in cancer biology and/or immunotherapy development.
• Strong programming skills in Python or R; excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze high-dimensional molecular data from cancer patients.
• Develop workflows and pipelines for multi-omics data analysis.
• Assess molecular biomarkers for inclusion in controlled clinical trials.
• Collaborate with leading scientists to develop innovative analysis workflows and pipelines.
