Job summary

UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester, MA invites applications for a postdoctoral fellowship in implementation science focused on translating evidence-based suicide prevention into practice across diverse clinical settings.

Fellows will collaborate with CAPES and other UMass Chan faculty, engage in research, training, and dissemination, and have opportunities for grants, publications, and teaching within the medical school and affiliated programs.

Qualifications

• A doctoral degree is required in psychology, public health, epidemiology, health sciences, health services research, or related fields.
• Individuals with a concentration or training in implementation science or health services research are encouraged to apply.
• Flexible, able to travel off-site to UMass Memorial Community EDs.

Responsibilities

• Translate evidence-based suicide prevention interventions into clinical practice across healthcare settings.
• Participate in ongoing research and grant submissions and complete pilot projects.
• Prepare mentored research grants (e.g., F32 or K99) and support publications and presentations.
• Collaborate with Population and Quantitative Health Sciences' Division of Health Informatics and Implementation Science.
• Engage with healthcare systems to improve suicide care pathways and provide training across settings.
