Job summary

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s Hillman Lab seeks post-doctoral scientists and engineers to develop and apply advanced optical imaging and microscopy methods.

We design high-speed 3D microscopy, light-sheet/SCAPE, two-photon, fluorescence lifetime and vibrational imaging; and build large-scale imaging pipelines to study brain cell types, connectivity, and neurovascular relationships in health and disease.

Qualifications

• Post-doctoral scientists and engineers in physics, engineering or biology.
• Experience with advanced optical imaging techniques is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply advanced optical imaging and microscopy methods.
• Collaborate with physics, engineering and biology teams to translate methods into biological insights.
• Contribute to data acquisition and analysis pipelines for high-content studies.
