Job summary

The University of Pennsylvania's Department of Otorhinolaryngology invites applications for a postdoctoral position under Dr. Devraj Basu, at the interfaces among cancer biology, immunology, bioinformatics, and molecular epidemiology for HPV-related head and neck cancer.

Trainees will lead projects on HPV oncoprotein heterogeneity, development of targeted therapeutics, and profiling biomarkers using multi-omic analyses.

Qualifications

• Advanced training in cancer biology is essential.
• Strong foundations in tumor biology, immunology, and computational analysis are highly desirable.
• Experience with multi-omic analyses is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects at the interfaces of cancer biology, immunology, bioinformatics, and molecular epidemiology related to HPV+ head and neck cancer.
• Contribute to translational research efforts within the Translational Center of Excellence for HPV+ Head and Neck Cancer.
• Collaborate with basic, translational and clinical researchers to generate clinically impactful findings.
