Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Hydrology, Engineering, Geographic Information Science, Natural Resources, or a related field with GIS/remote sensing/geospatial focus.
• Demonstrated research activity with potential for peer-reviewed publications and grant proposals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordinating multiple grant-funded research projects in agriculture and environmental science.
• Conduct geospatial data collection, management, and analysis for publications and reports.
• Mentor undergraduate and graduate researchers in GEO-AI, GIS, remote sensing, and related disciplines.
• Develop scholarly manuscripts, presentations, and grant proposals.
• Support outreach, experiential learning, and international opportunities for students.
• Manage geospatial datasets and research records across grants.
• Support procurement and maintenance of research equipment and technologies (drones, sensors, LiDAR).
• Assist with teaching geospatial courses and participating in seminars and recruitment events.
