Responsibilities

• Design, operate and analyze experiments measuring low-energy fusion reactions.
• Prepare and measure samples using nuclear techniques (e.g., detectors).
• Analyze samples in a micro-fabrication facility (Molecular Foundry).
• Load metals with deuterium via electrochemical processes.
• Collaborate with LBNL scientists, partners, engineers, postdocs and students; present results.
• Publish results in peer-reviewed journals and deliver talks.
• Promote safety and environmentally sensitive work practices; follow EH&S policies.
• Mentor undergraduate and graduate students and visitors.
