Qualifications

• PhD in related discipline with publications or software output.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement sparse algorithms for large-scale scientific/ numerical/AI models.
• Demonstrate scalability of algorithms on leadership supercomputers.
• Develop analyses to bound trade-offs between performance and energy efficiency.
• Disseminate findings via publications and conferences; give invited talks.
• Release research software as open-source libraries and contribute to community codes.
• Collaborate with scientists to apply sparse algorithms to mission applications.
