Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in Molecular Biology, Genomics, Genetics, or equivalent.
• Experience with plant model systems.
• Proven record of publishing independent research, including at least one first-author manuscript.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement experiments combining cis-regulatory element modifications with genomic and molecular techniques to study crop shoot genetics.
• Analyze next-generation sequencing data (bulk and single-cell) in HPC environments.
• Mentor and supervise junior lab members.
• Interpret results and prepare reports, presentations and manuscripts.
• Draft final versions of manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
