North Carolina A&T State University is seeking a Post Doctoral Scholar to study bioactive food components for disease prevention. The role involves conducting research, publishing results, and mentoring students in the CEPHT lab focused on post-harvest technologies and functional foods.

Formación

• Experience in analyzing bioactive food compounds.
• Experience in qualitative analysis of metabolites, and trace-level analysis of biomolecules in vivo.
• Knowledge in mass-based metabolomic research.
• Knowledge in the interactions between gut microbiome and dietary compounds.
• Knowledge in microbiology.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for communicating and publishing scientific results.
• Strong ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct scientific research and have peer-reviewed scientific publications and provide technical assistance to graduate and undergraduate students working in the lab as needed.
