Job summary

The role develops optimization, control, data-driven methods, and digital twins for microgrids, energy storage, and SMR integration, collaborating with CSU faculty, national labs, and industry partners to publish results and deliver project milestones.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or closely related field, completed by start date.
• Experience programming in Python, MATLAB, or Julia.
• Experience in power and energy systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop optimization and control methods for microgrids and energy storage.
• Validate power system models and digital twins with data and simulations.
• Prepare technical reports and contribute to proposals and deliverables.
