Job summary

The University of Florida’s Agricultural and Biological Engineering department seeks a post-doctoral research associate to join the AgroClimate group at Gainesville. Qualifications

  • A Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, Geography, Meteorology or closely related field with background in geospatial analysis is required.
  • Preferred: Experience with R/Python programming languages is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and quantify crop production risk associated with climate anomalies for a USDA-NIFA funded project.
  • Provide support to a national strawberry disease risk project using weather stations and gridded weather data.
