Qualifications

  • PhD completed within the last 5 years in a relevant discipline.
  • Solid academic and research record in cementitious materials.
  • Experience setting and conducting laboratory experiments.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Research and develop advanced cement and concrete technologies for construction.
  • Develop experimental setups, conduct experiments, and analyze results.
  • Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams across departments and external partners.
  • Present results to ORNL, DOE, industry, and academia in talks and papers.
  • Assist in proposal development and ensure safety/compliance.
