Job summary

Benchmark Human Services is recruiting for a Part-time Postal Service Center Associate at the Wright Patterson AFB Postal Center. The role involves processing mail and supporting daily operations for USPS, FedEx, and UPS deliveries and handlings.

Ideal candidates are reliable, with a HS diploma, able to work as part of a team and comply with security and safety standards. Background checks will be completed per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily mail delivery to 6 locations within Area - "A" of Wright Patterson AFB.
• Sort incoming mail to the 6 locations within Area - “A” of the base.
• Maintain tracking logs to monitor accountable mail for the base.
• Follow all rules and regulations at Wright Patterson AFB.
• Report any suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation to supervisor immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with health and safety standards and report to work as scheduled.

General Responsibilities: Participates in the daily processing of mail and packages from USPS, FedEx, and UPS.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

• Provide daily mail delivery to 6 locations in Area - "A" of the base.
• Sort incoming mail to the 6 locations in Area – “A” of the base.
• Maintain tracking logs to assist in monitoring the base's accountable mail.
• Follow all rules and regulations in accordance with Wright Patterson AFB.
• Report any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation immediately to supervisor or department head.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all standards to assure the health and safety of all individuals.
• Report to work as scheduled.

• Possesses a high degree of honesty and be trustworthy.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• High school diploma/GED
• Never convicted of crimes involving theft.
• Never removed for cause from work in a postal, mail, or other communications activity.
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid Secret Security Clearance to handle official mail, or a favorable Entrance National Agency Check (ENTNAC) or National Agency Check (NAC) on file for PSC mail.
