Christie’s seeks a Full-time Research Assistant for Private Sales in the Post‑War & Contemporary Art department. The role involves assisting Specialists with provenance research, literature checks, and producing fact sheets for upcoming sales.

You will also coordinate image editing, contribute artwork essays, and help with gallery installations for private sale views. Candidates should hold an undergraduate or postgraduate degree and be able to work full-time in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated interest in Post‑War and Contemporary Art.
• Ability to stay organized and maintain composure under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and follow‑up.
• Confident verbal and written communication; multilingual skills a plus.

Responsabilités

• Research works for upcoming sale: provenance, exhibition history, literature checks.
• Produce fact sheets for floating and consigned works.
• Coordinate image editing and photography.
• Write artwork essays and assist with gallery guide and price list creation.
• Assist with installing galleries for private sale views and take installation photos.
• General department tasks as assigned by line manager.
