Job summary

Upvest in France is offering an internship in the Settlements & Transfers team. You will work across the full post-trade chain of securities accounts and PEA transfers, from instruction processing to settlement, gaining hands-on experience during a product launch.

This role provides direct exposure to French and European post-trade operations, with real responsibilities from week one, and a chance to develop skills in reconciliation, reporting, and process improvement while collaborating

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Banking, Economics or Law (M1/M2)
• Native-level French (C2) with comfortable English
• Experience in banking, back/middle office or securities operations is a plus
• Familiarity with PEA, post-trade or Euroclear France is a plus
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem solving
• SQL/Python knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

• Incoming and outgoing transfers: manage CTO and PEA transfers from request to settlement
• Counterparty and client relations: communicate with banks, brokers, custodians, and clients
• Controls and reconciliation: check securities and cash positions and reconcile movements
• Fails and exception management: investigate unsettled instructions and coordinate resolution
• PEA tax continuity: review and record PEA statements to preserve tax history
• Registered shares: process operations on French registered shares
• Reporting and continuous improvement: monitor SLAs, write procedures, identify automation opportunities
