Job summary

Alamo NEX Construction LLC in Texas is seeking a Post-Tensioning Technician to support the I35 NEX Central Project. The role focuses on post-tensioning operations within the Equipment department, performing installation, testing, and QA to ensure structural integrity on the I-35 corridor in the San Antonio area.

You will work nights outdoors, collaborate with field crews, and uphold safety standards while handling Tecpresa PT systems, tendons, grout, and related components.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of work experience in similar document control positions preferred.
• Level-2 Multistrand and Grouted PT Specialist (PTI) ASBI Certified Grouting Technician
• Must possess excellent organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and follows control procedures.
• Participates in pre-project planning and communicates with field crews.
• Motivates team members to coordinate post-tensioning tasks with other construction activities.
• Ensures crews operate all tools and equipment safely and productively.
• Provides training and assistance to crews on post-tensioning tasks.
• Completes essential paperwork clearly and accurately.
• Provides safety leadership on site.
• Supervises installation of post-tensioning materials and tendon installation.
• Performs grout trials and grout/ seal duct vents.
• Performs post grout inspection and QA of deliverables.
• Responds to management requests as needed.
• Maintains equipment and gauges.
