Job summary

Ruby Recruiting is seeking a Unit Manager for the MED SURG - Post Surgical Inpatient Unit. The Unit Manager will be responsible for supervising and coordinating nursing care in the unit, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of care.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of nursing experience, a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, and a Texas RN license. Previous management experience is also essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience as a staff nurse in the clinical area.
• Previous management experience or demonstrated ability to serve in a leadership position.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the nursing care provided on the assigned unit.
• Assist the Department Director in implementing Performance Improvement activities.
• Manage financial aspects of the Unit.

Job Summary:

The Manager also coordinates and supervises the activities for the unit, which supports the safe and efficient delivery of care. The Unit Manager assists the Department Director in the implementation of Performance Improvement activities, hospital policies/procedures and in the financial management of the Unit.

**This position is a manager for a post surgical inpatient unit.

Qualifications

Requirements:

-BLS certification.-License to practice as RN in the State of Texas.-Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.-Bachelor of Science in Nursing -3-5 years experience as a staff nurse in the clinical area.
