Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
Job DescriptionThe Post Support Tech (OVERNIGHT) will perform a variety of operational and technical functions in support of longform and short-form post production for domestic and international workflows. These services will encompass enterprise-wide marketing supply chain, process-building, documentation, workflow rollout, media prep, content ingest, delivery tasks, graphic support, finishing editing services as necessary, L1 support for all operational workflows and finishing workflows, media management for post and Avid storage-based workflows, as well as administrative functions for the Post Production Department.
Provide L1 support for both remote and local editors, and Post Production staff
Supports multiple products across the Marketing Supply Chain including VPost (a virtual cloud-based Post Production environment), Frame.io (review and approval platform) and Airtable (workflow automation and spreadsheet tool)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
