Job summary

CLA is seeking a Senior Analyst - Post Merger Integration for our Deal Services practice to assist private equity-backed and growth-oriented companies with financial professionalization, post-close integration, and accounting transformation initiatives.

You will support month-end close optimization, balance sheet analysis, ERP and reporting enhancements, and development of management reports and KPI dashboards.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as an Associate in an equivalent industry/service.
• 3-5 years of audit, accounting advisory, CAAS, transaction advisory, or finance consulting experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
• Working toward CFA, CPA or other post-graduate degree or relevant certification.
• Understanding of internal software systems including Pfx Engagement, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Windows and Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with financial professionalization initiatives, including month-end close optimization, reporting improvements, reconciliations, and finance function transformation.
• Support engagements related to acquisitions, recapitalizations, carve-outs, and other transaction events.
• Prepare and validate balance sheet schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Develop management reporting packages, KPI dashboards, lender reporting, and cash flow forecasting.
