The role emphasizes developing processing tools, refining data workflows, and collaborating with mass spectrometry scientists to enhance data quality at the point of capture.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree within the past 24 months from an accredited college or university.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, data science, bioinformatics, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience with Python scripting for data processing and instrument acquisition software.
• Working knowledge of AI frontier models (Claude/ChatGPT) to support technical work.
• Experience handling or processing large, high-throughput datasets.

Responsibilities

• Streamline data acquisition, instrument control, and data processing for MSI technologies.
• Build and refine processing pipelines, scripts, and tools for large imaging datasets.
• Develop software to enhance data acquisition and automate instrument steps.
• Collaborate with mass spectrometry scientists and leverage AI tools to accelerate work.
