What You’ll Learn
The fellowship emphasizes core areas such as professionalism, ethics, diversity, relationships, scientific knowledge, and interdisciplinary collaboration. It also develops skills in treatment selection, assessment, psychotherapy, consultation, supervision, and advocacy.
Training Tracks
Fellows can apply to one of four tracks: Outpatient Psychotherapy, Community-Based (In-Home), Intensive Outpatient Group Psychotherapy, or Early Childhood Day Treatment. Caseloads are assigned based on training goals and program needs.
The Role
Post-Master’s fellows provide psychotherapy under supervision, managing a caseload in their chosen track. Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, therapy, and participation in supervision and training activities.
Requirements
Applicants should have a master's degree in a relevant field, completed a practicum involving diagnosis and treatment, and be on track for licensure in Minnesota. Prior experience and a commitment to relational and systemic approaches are preferred.
