Select Specialty Hospital - Nashville is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Nashville, TN for a per diem schedule. You will conduct comprehensive evaluations of communication and swallowing, and provide targeted therapy to maximize patient function.

The role involves collaboration with rehab staff, program development, and ensuring department supplies are stocked. Minimum requirements include state licensure and BLS certification or completion within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive evaluation of communication skills and/or swallowing function.
• Deliver goal-oriented treatment to facilitate maximum communication and/or swallowing potential.
• Participate with Rehab Therapy staff to monitor quality of services.
• Assist in developing the SLP role in programs and revising department policies.
• Maintain adequate stock of supplies and share professional knowledge with colleagues.
