Job summary

Good Day Farm is seeking a Post Harvest Tech I to support daily post harvest operations. This entry-level role focuses on production tasks, following SOPs, and safe, efficient work. Responsibilities include hanging harvests to dry, bucking, trimming, sorting, and general material movement, with potential data logging.

You will work with Tech II/III and Leads to maintain quality and compliance, in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Quality checks on the conveyor line and report deviations.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and report issues.
• Assist in removing plants or flowers with defects to maintain product integrity.
• Assist harvest and drying processes and prepare drying rooms/equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace for efficiency.
• Operate and maintain B4 bucking machines as directed.
• Assist with burping and takedown to optimize drying conditions.
• Follow safety protocols when operating equipment.
• Learn to identify mold, pests, or abnormalities in cannabis material.
• Collaborate with Tech II/III and leads to remove affected plants from line.
• Clean totes and equipment; perform daily tasks as assigned.
