Job summary

King City Gardens is seeking a Post-Harvest Supervisor to lead drying, curing, trimming, and packaging in full compliance with Ohio DCC regulations and SOPs. You will maintain METRC traceability and ensure weight and labeling accuracy.

You will supervise Dry Room Leads, Technicians, and Packaging Specialists, set production targets, and coordinate with Cultivation and Compliance teams to ensure smooth vault transfers and compliant finished goods.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Eligible to obtain Ohio DCC cannabis employee credentials before start date.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or lead experience in a cannabis, pharmaceutical, food production, or regulated manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency with METRC or equivalent cannabis compliance software.
• Strong working knowledge of Ohio DCC regulations and Ohio Administrative Code 1301:18.
• Ability to pass all required background checks per licensing requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee post-harvest activities including drying, curing, trimming and packaging.
• Set daily and weekly production targets for dry room and packaging.
• Monitor environmental conditions (temp, humidity, airflow) in drying/curing areas.
• Ensure products are weighed, labeled and sealed per packaging requirements.
• Coordinate harvest handoffs and verify METRC batch and tag accuracy.
• Manage vault transfers and coordinate with compliance for distribution.
• Supervise Dry Room Leads, Technicians and Packaging Specialists; train staff.
• Lead shift handoffs and daily production meetings; coordinate with HR as needed.
